Word Sessions | Mar. 2016 Lineup: P31

P31 is a collective of three individual artists who do urban music. The word P31 is derived from Proverbs 31, a book in the Bible which talks about a woman who is wise, kind and blessed in all she does.

The P31 Project is comprised of Lesynem Junior, Corinne Kahi, and Shani. They met early in 2015 through a mutual friend and an instant connection was made. Lesynem is a director, script writing and producer; Shani pursued 3D Animation; and Corinne is a spoken word artist and film maker.

They are not a girl group. However, they are all planning to make a mark in the industry both as individual artists and as a collective through God’s grace and direction. Their music is urban gospel.

They have performed on stages such as the annual Totally Sold Out(TSO) and Jeans and T-shirts (an urban gospel event based in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania) among others.

For more information on what they are up to you can follow them on Facebook (P31Kenya), Twitter (@p31kenya) and Instagram (@p31kenya)

P31 takes the stage this Saturday at Word Sessions at the Paa Ya Paa Arts & Culture Centre! Make sure that you get your advance tickets soon by sending 300/- KShs by M-Pesa to 0718878240!
